10 days until settlement on the house and almost everything has gone! There’s a few bits and pieces to donate to the museum street stall, too many sauce bottles and packets of pasta in the pantry and always...no space left in the bin! Why on earth did I accumulate so much? The pantry and fridge are still looking pretty full and I haven’t shopped (apart from bread and milk) since before Xmas. I am really looking forward to living in a small space, a space where every item will have to account for it’s place in a drawer, in a cupboard, on a shelf. I’m looking forward to only having the things I need and the few things I love. My poster arrived this week for the wall at the end of my bed in the van. With a timber frame around it I think it will look really good. Down lights under the overhead cupboards will light it up nicely. A nice familiar image to see when I wake up in different places. After looking on eBay for ages, searching for a particular type of tap set, actually I found it in my own garden on an old enamal sink I bought 6 years ago. These taps will be perfect with my copper preserving pan sink!

Great choice of your artworks Clare- a piece of home. I'magine waking to this in the outback red contrast! And such a regal almost defiant cheetah.... I'm seeing female.

I made this collage of works especially for my van. I agree, a defiant female cheetah and the calmness of the rainforest.
